Palestinian ambassador hails relations with Angola

Luanda – The new ambassador of Palestine to Angola, Jubrael George Bishara Shomali, praised today in Luanda, the relations between the two countries, considering them “excellent”.

According to the diplomat, the ties that unite the two peoples are historical, forged since the time of the Angolan national liberation struggle, through Presidents Agostinho Neto and Yasser Arafat.

For Jubrael Shomali, strengthening those ties, boosted by more practical and tangible bilateral cooperation, will be a priority during his few years in Angola.

He added that projects and proposals inherent to its objectives are underway and will soon be presented to the Angolan authorities for appraisal and subsequent implementation.
