Parliament approves its rules of procedure

The parliament, on Friday, approved, its new rules of procedure with 121 votes in favour, 2 against and one abstention.

The MPs had earlier voted on Article 171 of the chapter of transitional provisions, which concerns the entry into force of rules of procedure after approval.

Speaker of the Assembly of People’s Representatives Brahim Bouderbala praised the efforts made to adopt the rules of procedure within the time limit.

The Assembly will work in perfect harmony with the executive power, without any submission, he pointed out.

Bouderbala also stressed that the Assembly is open to the media and to all initiatives proposed by national organisations and civil society.
