Luanda: President Joo Louren§o has announced that he will be unable to attend the National Reconciliation Congress scheduled for November 6 and 7 in Luanda, due to scheduling conflicts related to state commitments.
According to Angola Press News Agency, a note from the Press Office of the Presidency of the Republic indicated that the Head of State was invited to participate in the event organized by the Episcopal Conference of Angola and So Tom© (CEAST). Despite his absence, he will be represented by a member of the government.
The National Reconciliation Congress is an initiative by CEAST, designed to foster dialogue, forgiveness, and social cohesion. The event aims to bring together representatives from various segments of Angolan society to uphold the values of peace, unity, and national reconciliation.
