President reappoints public television’s CEO

Luanda – Angolan president João Lourenço reappointed Monday Francisco José Mendes as CEO of the country’s public television (TPA).

According to a note issued by the President’s Press Office, in a previous decree the Head of State ended the mandate of the individuals that are part of the Board of Directors of the TPA, namely

– Francisco José Mendes, Chairman of the Board of Directors;

– Carlos Alberto Tomé da Silva Guimarães – Executive Director for Technical Area;

– Neto de Almeida Júnior Gaspar – Executive Director for Content Area;

– Ana Edite Pinto Ferreira Ribeiro – Executive Director for Marketing and Exchanges;

– Rui Carlos Cardoso Ramos – Executive Administrator for Administration and Finance

– Ana Maria de Lemos Rodrigues de Gouveia – Non-executive Director;

– Mariana Ribeiro de Carvalho Costa – Non Executive Director;

In another decree, the President of the Republic appointed the members of the Board of Directors of the TPA, namely

– Francisco José Mendes – Chairman of the Board of Directors

-Carlos Alberto Tomé da Silva Guimarães – Executive Director for Technical Area;

– Neto de Almeida Júnior Gaspar – Executive Director for Content Area;

– Rui Carlos Cardoso Ramos – Executive Administrator for Administrative and Financial Area

– Ana Edite Pinto Ferreira Ribeiro – Executive Administrator for Sales, Marketing and Exchanges

– Mariana Ribeiro de Carvalho Costa – Non-Executive Director;

-José Carlos Marinho – Non Executive Administrator
