Queen Nhakatolo Acknowledges Presidential Support for Eastern Moxico Development

Luanda: Queen Nhakatolo Tisengo, sovereign of the Luvale people, expressed her gratitude for the efforts of President Joo Louren§o in advancing the development of Eastern Moxico. She acknowledged the president's commitment during a recent meeting in Luanda, where discussions focused on the region's growth under the new Political-Administrative Division framework.

According to Angola Press News Agency, Queen Nhakatolo praised the ongoing investments in road infrastructure, which are vital for the consolidation process of the newly formed province. She highlighted the significance of these developments in fostering regional connectivity and economic growth.

The queen also stressed the importance of agricultural development in Eastern Moxico, pointing out the region's substantial productive potential. She emphasized the necessity of continued government support to capitalize on these opportunities, particularly through initiatives like providing agricultural tractors, which are expected to enhance cultivation and productivity.

Queen Nhakatolo concluded by reaffirming the traditional authorities' dedication to contributing to the province's economic and social progress, indicating a collaborative approach with the government to ensure sustainable development for Eastern Moxico.
