Religious Leaders Reinforce Adherence to Unofficial Electoral Registration in Cuanza-Norte

Ndalatando: Religious leaders and traditional authorities in Cuanza-Norte reinforced, today, Thursday in Ndalatando, the appeal for adherence to the unofficial electoral registration, considering the process fundamental to guarantee the exercise of the right to vote in the 2027 general elections.

According to Angola Press News Agency, after a meeting with members of the Provincial Government, the officials appealed to citizens over 18 years of age to update their data, stressing that registration is essential for participation in the electoral process.

Father Morua Clemente, from the Diocese of Ndalatando, stated that the Catholic Church will intensify awareness-raising among the faithful during masses, while Pastor Miguel Calemba, from the Eagle Vision Church, advocated for the installation of a registration post in the denomination's facilities to facilitate access for citizens.

The president of the Kimbanguist Women's Association, Lando Gra§a, and Reverend Miguel Sebastio Domingos, from the Anglican Church, guaranteed the involvement of their churches in mobilizing the faithful to join the process.

In turn, the director of the Provincial Office for Registration and Administrative Modernization, Aires Soares, assured that the unofficial electoral registration is proceeding at a good pace and without constraints in the province.
