SAGRADA COACH SAYS TEAM READY FOR TITLE MATCH

Dundo – Sagrada Esperança team head coach, Roque Sapiri, on Wednesday said the team is psychologically prepared to face Petro de Luanda on Saturday in the last match of the national first division football championship that will define which of the two teams will lift the trophy.

Sagrada Esperança coach added that the team have improved defensive tactics, taking into account that Petro de Luanda have one of the best attacks of the national championship.

“At this stage, the team is prepared in psychological terms, we are improving tactical and defensive issues,” Sapiri said, adding that the fact of playing away and being in advantage in direct confrontation does cool off the ambition to finish the season with a victory.

Sagrada Esperança and Petro de Luanda co-lead the championship with 67 points; the team seeks the second title since 2005, when they were crowned champions for the first time.

Petro won the championship for the last time in 2009, when the team lifted the 15th title.

1º de Agosto have won the last four championships.
