Second Day of FILDA/2025 to Focus on Forums, Workshops

Luanda: The second day of the Angola International Trade Fair (FILDA) 2025, taking place at the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) in the province of Icolo e Bengo, will be packed with workshops and forums organized by the participating companies, offering a platform for in-depth discussions and presentations.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the event will cover topics such as Digital Adoption in International Trade in Angola, Broadcast Made in Angola, Energy that Transforms, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity - The New Frontier of Digital Protection, and Trademark Registration Procedures. These subjects are set to be the focal points of the day's events, providing insights and fostering dialogue among attendees.

VECAUTO, a leading truck sales company, is set to launch the new SHACMAN X3000 truck model. This launch aims to address industry challenges by ensuring reliable vehicles, reducing high operating costs, and providing technical assistance across the provinces. Additionally, a strategic partnership agreement will be signed between TIS, a technology consulting firm, and GIANT SEGUROS, an insurance company, within the Special Economic Zone (ZEE).

As part of the day's activities, the SIRIS platform, a technological solution developed entirely in Angola for the insurance sector, will be introduced. This platform is designed to tackle challenges within the sector, enhancing efficiency and service delivery.

This year's edition of FILDA features participation from 2,194 direct and indirect participants representing multiple sectors and 18 countries, surpassing the 1,707 exhibitors at FILDA/2024. The event, formerly known as the Luanda International Fair, has been renamed to the Angola International Trade Fair, retaining the acronym FILDA due to its significance and alignment with the new Political and Administrative Division of the country.

The event setup includes four pavilions with varying sizes, the largest being 40,000 cubic meters, alongside a surrounding area of 160,000 square meters of covered space. Under the motto "50 years, consolidating Angola's economic independence and integration into the world," this edition aims to promote business, unite Angola's business community, and drive economic progress.

A new feature of this edition is the Angolan cultural hall, which will showcase art, poetry, literature, music, dance, and other cultural expressions from the country's 21 provinces over six days. Additionally, a pavilion dedicated to the automotive sector will be part of the exhibition.
