Lubango – Valuing the staff entails promoting, training and updating the techniques as well as improve working conditions, said the provincial delegate of the Interior Ministry in southern Huíla province.

He said that the appreciation of personnel also affects the way they are treated on daily basis.

Slamming some attitudes such as the culture of arrogance, tyranny and “bossism” in the offices, the senior police officer called for the need to build good relationship among members.

He spoke of cultivating more and more dialogue and good relationship between chiefs and subordinates to ensure working environment in the corporation.

“Honour, respect and dignity are not only owed to bosses but also to subordinates, because the quality of organisations depends on it”, he added.

He said that effort has been made where 100% of the staff have been promoted and others are very close to this range, adding that the interior ministry will continue until all the staff of the provincial delegation, according to their specific situation, perform their function.
