Chinguar: The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) in the province of Bi© has dismantled a network comprising five national citizens suspected of engaging in illegal gold mining activities in the municipality of Chinguar.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the SIC's spokesperson for the province of Bi©, Chief Inspector of Criminal Investigation Carlos Oliveira, reported that the individuals involved were conducting these strategic minerals activities in the village of Serafim, located in the commune of Cutato.
A variety of tools and materials used in the illicit mining operations were confiscated at the site, including pickaxes, hoes, a shovel, and other equipment.
