State minister highlights staff training programme

Luanda- Angola’s minister of State for Social Affairs Dalva Ringote Wednesday in Luanda praised the National Programme for Training Management Staff (PNFQ) in what she said the initiative ensures the quantitative and qualitative training of the Angolan potential.

Addressing a swearing in ceremony of the deputy coordinators for the Technical Management Unit of the National Management Plan, Martinho Bangula Katúmua and Nyanga Tyitapeka, the official stressed the role of PNFQ.

She said PNFQ represents an instrument for managing human resources for the economy.

The official added that the objective is to improve the skills of the working age population outside the labour force to ensure balance between the demand and supply of qualified and competent labour for current and future challenges.

The minister of State for Social Affairs said the programme contributes to the growth and development of the country and the instruments correspond to the needs so that the country achieves economic and social development.

“Under the staff training dubbed “Angola Human Capital 2022-2035″ the programmes meet the country’s needs,” she said.

Dalva Ringote also said the newly appointed members have the responsibility to ensure coordination and articulation with the sectors in charge of implementing the programme.

Also to ensure that the projects can provide the necessary response to the training and ensure combined effort toward achieving desired result.

The qualification areas of the programme are Arts, Civil Construction, Electricity and Mechatronics, Hospitality and Catering, Mechanics and Production, Metrology and Multimedia.

The ceremony gathered Secretary of the President of the Republic for Social Affairs Fátima Viegas, ministers of Education Luísa Grilo, Public Administration, Labour and Social Security Teresa Rodrigues and Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Maria do Rosário Bragança.
