Luanda: The TIS Academy, a digital transformation consultancy firm, has announced plans to train 10,000 young individuals by the end of 2026, as revealed by academic coordinator Marta Rªgo. The initiative is a part of the company's comprehensive program that includes both face-to-face and digital training modules focusing on skill development for the technology sector.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the announcement was made during a press briefing following a breakfast meeting with journalists from various media outlets. The event was organized to introduce TIS' new corporate, executive, and technological training platform. The academy aims to enhance technical and digital leadership skills, ensuring that organizations and society can fully leverage technological solutions.
The coordinator highlighted that the academy also offers programs for professionals already in the job market through corporate education and continuing training programs. The training is structured into different areas, such as the Tech Pillar, which focuses on information technologies, alongside business management and executive training programs.
Additionally, the programs cover behavioral skills such as communication, professional posture, and job market preparation. The use of digital resources and partnerships with universities is expected to accelerate the training process, aiming to reach 10,000 graduates by the end of the year through self-instructional courses.
Messias Louren§o, the manager of TIS Academy, stated that the institution's mission is to enhance human and organizational development through programs that combine technology, innovation, and leadership. TIS Academy's strategy is based on four pillars: technology, business management, executive training, and human capital development diagnosis.
TIS, established in 2013, is a consultancy firm focused on digital transformation, operating in the national market in areas such as software development, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data science. The company commenced its training activities four years ago and has developed the TIS Academy as a business unit over the past two years.
