Tunisia participates in Hannover Messe

Small and Medium-sized enterprises and technology providers will be part of a Tunisian delegation to the Hannover Messe, Germany (April 17-20). The delegation also includes technology integrators, startups, industry 4.0 cross-cutting and sectorial competence centres and officials from the Industry, Mines and Energy Ministry and the Ministry of Communication Technologies.

This is an opportunity for participating enterprises to harness new technologies in one of the world’s largest industrial technology fairs, the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) said.

This participation fits within the national initiative Towards Industry 4.0 in Tunisia which was launched by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy with the support of the special initiative Decent Work for a Just Transition – Invest for Jobs commissioned by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ Tunisia though its digital transformation programme.

Hannover Messe is the world’s largest industrial technology fair; it is a meeting place for the industrial community in such segments as industrial automation, energy, digital businesses, industrial supply, research and technology.
