Tuy Records 44.83% Success Rate in 2025 BEPC Exam

Ouagadougou: The province of Tuy announced a success rate of 44.83% in the 2025 Brevet d'‚¬Å¡¬°tudes du Premier Cycle (BEPC) exam. Of the 2,728 candidates who undertook the exams, 1,223 were declared successful.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the candidates were comprised of 1,266 boys and 1,462 girls. These participants were evaluated by ten juries, distributed as follows: five in Hound©, two in Koumbia, and one each in Founzan, Boni, and Koti.

Following the two examination rounds, 620 boys and 603 girls were admitted, contributing to the overall success rate of 44.83% for the province. In the initial round, 799 candidates (416 boys and 383 girls) successfully passed, marking a success rate of 29.29%. Of the 1,402 candidates eligible for the second round (621 boys and 781 girls), 424 were definitively admitted, including 204 boys and 220 girls.

In comparison, the 2024 BEPC session saw the province of Tuy presenting 2,867 candidates with a success rate of 46.63%.
