Abdallah Al Dardari, Assistant Secretary-General and Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau for Arab States, on Tuesday expressed the programme's commitment to providing technical support to accompany the 2023-2025 development plan, to set up sustainable development financing programmes with donors and to encourage investment.
During a meeting with Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani at the Government Palace in Kasbah Tuesday, the UN official expressed the desire to expand the sectors of cooperation. He mentioned, in particular, programmes related to food, water and energy security, according to a press release issued by the Prime Ministry.
For his part, the Prime Minister expressed Tunisia's desire to continue its cooperation with the UNDP, stressing the importance of the technical support provided by the programme.
