UNITA Outlines Comprehensive Strategy for 2027 Elections

Dundo: The secretary-general of UNITA, Liberty Chiyaca, reiterated on Tuesday in the municipality of Dundo, province of Lunda-Norte, that the party is engaged in citizens mobilization actions and other strategies to guarantee electoral victory in 2027, which constitutes a great political challenge. According to Angola Press News Agency, Chiyaca, during a 2-day working visit to Lunda-Norte Province, emphasized that UNITA has set the organization of the party's grassroots structures as a strategic priority to achieve this objective. He underscored the need to continue the efforts undertaken in recent years as preparation for upcoming political challenges, focusing on consolidating and enhancing the party's political frameworks. Liberty Chiyaca also noted that the visit's purpose extended beyond party matters, aiming to evaluate the social, political, and cultural environment of the province. This comprehensive approach is intended to inform the party's strategies and strengthen its presence in the region. Th e working agenda of UNITA's secretary-general concluded with a focused meeting to develop political strategies, which was preceded on Sunday by interactions with party militants.
