Venâncio de Moura Academy seeking partnership in Cuba

Luanda – Angola’s Venâncio de Moura Diplomatic Academy intends to intensify cooperation with the Raúl Roa Higher Institute of International Relations (Cuba), with the prospect of mutual advantages.

The intention was expressed Friday in Havana by the Angolan institution’s assistant director-general for studies and research, Matias Pires, according to a press release from the Angolan Embassy in Cuba.

The Angolan diplomat said that it was in the interest of the Angolan side to boost cooperation in the areas of staff training and exchange of information.

During the meeting with the vice-rector of the Higher Institute of International Relations, Raúl Roa, the Angolan official handed over a proposal to sign a new scientific cooperation agreement between the two institutions.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Matias Pires, who is participating in the fifth international conference on World Balance in Havana, gave a lecture on Angola’s foreign policy.
