Yatenga: The province of Yatenga recorded this school year 2025, a success rate of 87.98% in the Primary School Certificate, to the great satisfaction of the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education of Yatenga (DPEPPNF), Salam Ou©draogo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the year ended on a note of overall satisfaction across all 17 basic education districts (CEB) in Yatenga. The success rate for the Primary School Certificate and the sixth-grade entrance exams was 87.98%, compared to 79.94% last school year.
A total of 9,524 candidates were in the running for this 2025 session of the CEP exam and, in the end, 8,322 candidates were declared successful, including 4,401 girls. The relocated CEBs of Koumbri and Thiou achieved success rates of 100%.
"This success is due to the teachers, supervisors, parents, and students who demonstrated commitment, resilience, and sacrifice," acknowledged Salam Ou©draogo, Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education in Yatenga. He praised the goodwill displayed throughout the school year. He indicated that this is the result of several successful activities.
Ou©draogo paid a well-deserved tribute to the defense and security forces and to the volunteers for the defense of the homeland who contributed to the reopening of several educational structures.
"While wishing you a well-deserved rest, we express the hope that peace returns to the land of upright men so that we can continue to participate in writing the most beautiful page in the history of our country," the DPPNEF said to the Yatenga educational community in its message of thanks.
