Kourittenga’s Primary School Certificate Success Rates Impress Provincial Director

Kourittenga: The provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education in Kourittenga, Ouboli Marcel Yogo, expressed satisfaction with the results of the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and the entry into sixth grade for the 2025 session across the province's 11 Basic Education Districts (CEB).

According to Burkina Information Agency, out of 8,345 candidates presented in Kourittenga, excluding independent candidates, 7,927 candidates, comprising 4,422 girls and 3,505 boys, successfully passed the CEP exams for the 2025 session. This achievement reflects a commendable success rate of 94.99%.

The results across the 11 CEBs showed Yargo leading with a 98.96% success rate, followed by Koup©la II at 98.61%, Pouytenga I at 98.27%, and Andemtenga at 97.92%. Other districts like Baskour©, Pouytenga II, and Dialgaye also recorded high success rates of 97.16%, 96.86%, and 96.18%, respectively. Koup©la I, Kando, Tensobtenga, and Gounghin completed the list with 95.72%, 93.49%, 90.07%, and 85.26% success rates, respectively.

Ouboli Marcel Yogo attributed this success to the collective efforts of all stakeholders in education within Kourittenga, including the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP).
