Mbanza Kongo – Young people from the northern province of Zaire applauded Saturday the announcement on construction of two housing projects with 1,500 apartments each, in the municipalities of Mbanza Kongo and Soyo.
The President of the ruling MPLA party, João Lourenço, who made the announcement, while addressing a mass rally in the capital of Zaire province, also pledged the construction of a new Higher Polytechnic Institute in Mbanza Kongo.
The rehabilitation of the Mbanza Kongo/Cuimba/Buela road, as well as the Mbanza Kongo/Madimba road section was also highlighted in the speech delivered by MPLA leader.
The local young people recognised the MPLA leader intention to address the main concerns that still afflict the youth and population of Zaire province.
João Lourenço has been in Zaire province since Friday to chair a mass rally as part of his pre-electoral campaign of the polls scheduled for August this year.
