Angola and China Express Satisfaction with Excellent Cooperative Relations

Luanda: Angola and Chinese authorities on Tuesday expressed satisfaction with the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

According to Angola Press News Agency, this was the conclusion reached during a meeting between the Angolan ambassador to China, Dalva Ringote Allen, and the director-general of the Africa Department of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Du Xiaohui.

On that occasion, the two diplomats agreed on the need to hold regular bilateral technical meetings between the ministerial departments of both nations, with the aim of ensuring better monitoring of ongoing projects and actions. The Angolan diplomat also took the opportunity to deliver an invitation from the Angolan Head of State, Joo Louren§o, to his counterpart, Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China, to participate in the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Angola's independence in Luanda.

The note emphasizes that the head of the Africa department of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the historical and strategic value that China attaches to its relations with Angola, which began in the most difficult of times, and that on this occasion, his country did not hesitate or spare any effort in providing comfort. Dalva Ringote Allen took the opportunity to take stock of Angola's participation in the recently concluded Ministerial Conference of Coordinators for the Implementation of the Results of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
