Luanda – Angola and Djibouti analysed Wednesday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, bilateral issues aimed at identifying the areas of cooperation, with mutual benefits.
This was during a meeting that gathered the diplomats Francisco José da Cruz (Angola) and Abdi Mahamoud Eybe of Djibouti.
A press release from Angolan Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the two diplomats also addressed the ongoing institutional reform process in the African Union (AU) to better respond to the continent’s challenges.
They also expressed concern about terrorism and violent extremism in some regions of Africa.
They were also worried about the increase in unconstitutional changes of government, undermining the effort focused on achieving the peace, stability and democracy in the continent, stressed the press note.
With residence in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Francisco José da Cruz was accredited Angolan ambassador to Djibouti on 24 January this year.
The two States are available to participate in a dynamic and comprehensive bilateral dialogue on the issue of common interest.
Abdi Mahamoud Eybe is expected to represent his country in Angola as a non-resident ambassador
