Angola and Turkey analyse bilateral co-operation

 

Luanda – The co-operation between Angola and Turkey, with highlght on the degree of implementation of juridical instruments and accords, was at the centre of an audience that Foreign minister Téte António has granted to the Turkish ambassador to Angola, Alp Ay.

According to a note from the Angolan Foreign Affairs Ministry, which reached Angop on Wednesdsay (12), the audience served also for the Turkish diplomat to present his end of mission “salute”.

 

The politico-diplomatic relations between Angola and Turkey were established on 09 July 1980 and reinforced in 2008, a year in which the parties signed in Ankara (Turkey) the Commercial, Economic and Technical Co-operation Agreement.

 

The two states also have a Memorandum of Understanding in the sector of aeronautics, as well as a Verbal Process relating to the First Session of the Joint Commission on Trade, Technical and Economic Co-operation.
