Angola, Georgia strengthen bilateral relations

Luanda – Friendship and cooperation ties between Angola and Georgia topped the meeting between Ambassador José Patrício and the Director for Africa and Middle East of the Georgian Foreign Affairs Ministry, Zurab Aleksid Ze on Thursday in Tbilisi.

According to a press release from the Angolan Embassy in Turkey, the two diplomats also analysed international issues, particularly the war in Ukraine.

Relations between the States became strong after the delivery of the Credential Letters by José Patrício, as non-resident ambassador, to the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, on September 3, 2021.

Georgia is located below the Greater Caucasus, a region of Eastern Europe and Western Asia.

With residence in Turkey, the diplomat José Patrício is Angola’s non-resident ambassador to Iran, Iraq and Georgia.
