Luanda:The Angola Hub Transport and Logistics Summit concluded its second edition with approximately 15,000 total visits over its three-day duration in Luanda. According to Angola Press News Agency, event spokesperson António Santana reported that the summit hosted around 5,000 unique visitors. These attendees participated in various technical sessions and explored exhibition floors since the conference commenced. The summit will officially close with a ceremony led by Angolan Minister of Transport Ricardo de Abreu. During this event, awards will be presented to 25 companies and organizations across five transport modes: road, rail, maritime, air, and logistics. The awards aim to recognize and encourage the continued investment by both private and public sectors in infrastructure development within Angola and the broader region. Santana emphasized that these recognitions intend to motivate entities to sustain their development efforts not only in Angola but also across the regional bloc. Santana also high lighted that the substantial turnout reflects the summit's success in underscoring the importance of transport and logistics as key drivers for Angola's economic growth and regional integration.
