Abu dhabi: A delegation from the Angolan Chamber of Customs Brokers (CDOA) will participate in the World Customs Organization (WCO) Technology Conference and Exhibition to take place from January 28 to 30 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, ANGOP has learnt. The event will be held under the theme "Customs Agility in a Complex World: Securing and Facilitating Trade through Innovation".
According to Angola Press News Agency, the Angolan delegation's participation in the conference aims to strengthen institutional capacity, exchange best practices, and align the country's Customs Brokers with international standards in customs and trade facilitation matters. Headed by the president of the Angolan Chamber of Customs Brokers, Jos© Manuel Pacheco, the delegation was received this Tuesday by the Angolan ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Jºlio Maiato, where they discussed matters of interest to the country.
