ARP: heads of groups pick their representatives in parliament’s bureau

The meeting of the heads of parliamentary groups, Thursday, helped determine the assignments of the parliament’s bureau under the provisions of Article 31 of the ARP’s internal rules.

The meeting was attended by Speaker of the Assembly of People’s Representatives (ARP) Brahim Bouderbala.

An agreement was reached on the representatives, in terms of assignment, at the the ARP bureau, reads a press release of the parliament; adding that the announcement of the results of the meeting will be made at Thursday afternoon’s plenary session.

The ARP bureau is made up of the Parliament Speaker, two Deputy-Speakers and 10 assessors.

They are:

– Assessor of the Speaker in charge of Legislative Affairs

– Assessor of the Speaker in charge of Relations with the Presidency of the Republic and the Prime Ministry.

– Assessor of the Speaker in charge of Relations with the Constitutional Authorities and the Judicial Office.

– Assessor of the Speaker in charge of Relations with the National Council of Regions and Districts.

– Assessor of the Speaker in charge of External Relations, Tunisians Abroad and Migration

– Assessor of the Speaker in charge of Relations with citizens and the Civil Society.

– Assessor of the Speaker in charge of Press and Communications.

– Assessor of the Speaker in charge of Public Management.

– Assessor of the Speaker in charge of Major Reforms.

– Assessor to the Speaker in charge of Deputies’ Affairs.
