Luanda: The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) in Huambo province: captured at least three Angolan citizens on Tuesday who were accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl and had been on the run.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the SIC stated that the incident occurred last Wednesday at around 5 p.m. inside a residence in the Avia§o neighborhood on the outskirts of Huambo. The victim was returning from school when the three 18-year-old suspects approached her on the street and took her to the residence where the crime was committed.
It clarifies that the suspects fled after the incident but were located and arrested following an investigation with the support of the public, who provided reports. The SIC appealed to parents and guardians to increase their vigilance with children and adolescents, especially on their way to and from school, to prevent similar situations.
