FILDA Becomes a Major Revenue Source for Set Design and Stand Construction Companies

Luanda: The Luanda International Fair (FILDA) has emerged as a significant revenue stream for companies specializing in set design and stand construction, as stated by representatives from businesses in this sector on Monday in the Icolo e Bengo province. The 41st edition of FILDA 2026, which is set to commence on Tuesday, is being hosted at the Special Economic Zone (ZEE). According to Angola Press News Agency, managers have emphasized that the event has solidified its position as a primary revenue source due to the high demand they encounter during this period. Dinis Laranjeira, the manager of Mulde Angola, revealed that the company is in the process of assembling 14 stands with approximately 300 technicians on site. He highlighted the trend among both national and international companies to move beyond basic models and invest in innovative structures that effectively convey brand identity. Antonio Lusassi from Luminose, a company with eight years of market presence, noted a substantial increase in servic e demand as preparations for FILDA 2026 are underway. "We are working 24/7. FILDA is our peak income period. Clients want experience, technology, and visual impact," Lusassi explained, underscoring the importance of the event for their business. Felício Gaspar, who has been involved in the stand assembly service for 12 years, pointed out that investing in a well-designed stand has transitioned from being a mere cost to a strategic move for exhibitors. This year's FILDA is themed "Produce and Innovate Locally, Win Globally" and features the participation of 2,348 national and international exhibitors, focusing on companies from 22 countries.
