Luanda: The governor of Bié province, Celeste Adolfo, urged on Thursday the newly appointed members of the government and social partners to work on projects that encourage environmental preservation and improve the well-being of the population. According to Angola Press News Agency, the governor highlighted actions such as increased solid waste collection in the streets of cities and towns, tree planting, and the creation of green spaces, which should be reinforced to continue changing the province's image. She announced that various waste collection kits, including wheelbarrows, brooms, personal protective equipment, motorcycles, and other items, have been purchased at the administrative level as part of the Integrated Municipal Intervention Plan (PIIM).
