MAPTSS Analyzes New Remuneration Structure and Administrative Reform in Advisory Council

Ndalatando: The Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPTSS) will analyze, on Thursday, in Ndalatando, in a Consultative Council, the new remuneration structure of public administration and the administrative reform program.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the new remuneration structure aims to readjust civil servants' salaries and allowances, with the aim of promoting greater balance, salary fairness and career enhancement. The administrative reform program is aimed at modernizing public services, making them more efficient, transparent and closer to the citizen.

The approach of these two instruments, indicated the aforementioned source, is considered central to improving the performance of public administration, at a time when the Executive seeks to strengthen the quality of services provided and optimize the management of human resources in the State.

The portfolio holder, Teresa Dias, is already in Ndalatando for the expanded meeting, which will bring together MAPTSS officials and staff. During her stay, Teresa Dias will also observe the functioning of local bodies in the sector and proceed with the laying of the first stone for the construction of the new facilities of the Provincial Service of the Social Security Institute in the province.

The same source added that the new infrastructure will be completely re-equipped and modernized, in accordance with the new technological dynamics that the INSS is implementing at country level.
