Luanda: Angolan Foreign Minister T©te Ant³nio participated last Friday, from Luanda, in the virtual Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), summoned to decide on matters relating to the organisation's presidency, following the institutional (political) upheaval in Madagascar.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the meeting analysed the implications of the recent institutional change in Madagascar and discussed measures aimed at securing the normal functioning of SADC's governing body.
The decisions reached in that extraordinary meeting are to be submitted to the Heads of State and Government of SADC countries, in harmony with the procedures of the regional organisation.
