Cairo:Luanda: President Joo Lourenço departed from Luanda on Friday to attend significant continental meetings in Cairo, Egypt, aimed at enhancing African integration and coordination. According to Angola Press News Agency, President Lourenço will participate in a summit on Saturday with the founding members of the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), which he will co-chair with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. On Sunday, President Lourenço is scheduled to attend a mid-year coordination meeting involving the African Union, Regional Economic Communities, and Regional Mechanisms. These meetings are set to address issues related to continental integration and the implementation of Agenda 2063, focusing on improving coordination among African Union bodies to expedite the continent's economic and social development.
