Luanda: The Startup Challenge and Acelera Angola projects recently signed a partnership agreement in Luanda to promote national startups with potential for growth, innovation, and internationalization. According to Angola Press News Agency, one of the main moments of the partnership will be the announcement of the winning startup during Global Entrepreneurship Week Angola (GEW Angola), which takes place from November 16 to 22 this year in Luanda. The consultancy informs that the winning startup will have access to an international acceleration program, specialized mentoring, contact with investors, and connection with global innovation ecosystems. The integration of the announcement into GEW Angola aims to increase the visibility of national entrepreneurs and bring innovation, talent, and growth opportunities closer together. GEW Angola is an international initiative dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, companies, and institutions in activities related to inno vation and economic development. The Startup Challenge Angola 2026 is an acceleration program launched by the consulting firm LBC during ANGOTIC 2026, with direct access to the global entrepreneurial ecosystems of Lisbon and Berlin (Europe) and Silicon Valley (USA). The program focuses on boosting the Angolan digital ecosystem, supporting innovative projects with scalable models and the use of artificial intelligence or socioeconomic impact. According to LBC, the partnership with Acelera Angola will bring the program closer to national entrepreneurs and contribute to the development of competitive and sustainable startups with the capacity for expansion in national and international markets.
