UJES and UniLuanda Forge Educational Partnership with New Protocol

Huambo: Jos© Eduardo dos Santos University (UJES) in Huambo and Luanda University (UniLuanda) have formalized a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing teaching, research, extension, and innovation. This development marks a strategic collaboration between the two Angolan universities.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the rector of UniLuanda, Alfredo Gabriel Buza, explained that the agreement represents a legal framework for collaboration. It will facilitate the exchange of professors and researchers between the two institutions, allowing them to engage in teaching and leveraging existing technological resources. This partnership opens the door for joint projects focused on analyzing and comparing the educational and socio-economic landscapes of Huambo and Luanda. The findings from these studies are intended to inform and refine public policy adjustments in line with regional realities.

Alfredo Gabriel Buza highlighted the emphasis on evaluating the quality of education within the Angolan context. The goal is for both universities to collaborate in identifying and implementing effective educational solutions. This initiative comes in the wake of the recently signed protocol, which sets the groundwork for long-term cooperation.

She emphasized the importance of sharing experiences, especially in the arts and humanities, as well as in both common and unique scientific endeavors.
