Sumbe:Ant³nio Saºde Cabina, the provincial secretary of UNITA, Angola's largest opposition party, has called on the citizens of Cuanza-Sul to update their electoral registration data to ensure participation in the 2027 elections.
According to Angola Press News Agency, this appeal was made during a press conference in Sumbe City, focusing on evaluating the progress of the Electoral Registration Update Process. Cabina emphasized the need for increased mobile civil registration brigades and the establishment of permanent ID issuance posts across the province to facilitate better access to necessary documentation.
These initiatives, as highlighted by Cabina, are crucial for enabling more citizens to qualify for electoral participation. He stressed that ensuring every citizen has access to civil documentation is vital for exercising their citizenship rights and accessing public services.
