US-Africa Summit Expected to Address Continent’s Industrialization

Mbanza Kongo: The issue of establishing manufacturing industries is anticipated to be thoroughly discussed at the US-Africa Business Summit, with a focus on enabling African countries, particularly Angola, to cease exporting only raw materials to industrialized nations. This stance was advocated by economist Ant³nio F©lix Kialunguila in Mbanza Kongo, concerning the 17th US-Africa Business Summit, which the Angolan capital, Luanda, will host from the 22nd to the 25th of this month.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the summit represents a significant opportunity for both national and African businesspeople to express their concerns and seek solutions to the primary issues they face. Kialunguila emphasized that one of the critical concerns is the industrialization of the continent, aiming to reduce dependency on Western countries for processing raw materials.

Ant³nio F©lix Kialunguila also highlighted the necessity of substantial investment in mechanized agriculture, noting Angola's potential in this sector. He expressed hope that the US-Africa Summit would yield tangible outcomes in terms of revitalizing mutually beneficial relations between the United States and Africa.
