Luanda: The Health Ministry has announced the return of 14 Angolan doctors who completed two-year specialization courses in Brazil and Portugal. These medical professionals arrived back in the country over the weekend, ready to contribute to the National Health System with their newly acquired skills.
According to Angola Press News Agency, 13 doctors completed their training in Brazil, while one received training in Portugal. Their education focused on key areas such as neonatology, pediatric nursing, intensive care, clinical nutrition, physiotherapy, clinical psychology, hospital pharmacy, social work, and neurosurgery.
The doctors have been assigned to various hospitals across Angola to enhance healthcare services and address pressing healthcare needs. The Health Ministry believes that the specialized training these doctors received will play a crucial role in improving the quality of healthcare provided to the population.
