Leader of the National Salvation Front Ahmed Nejib Chebbi will appear on Friday before the investigating judge at the Judicial Counter-Terrorism Division, in connection with the case known as «plotting against State security,» said the Front in a statement on Thursday.
The Front has called for a rally in support of Nejib Chebbi, outside the headquarters of the Counter-Terrorist Division.
The defence committee of those detained in connection with this case has appealed to lawyers to attend the interrogation in order to reveal the truth about this "frame-up», the statement said.
The Front stressed that this case had been raised by the ruling power against opponents of different political and ideological affiliations.
President of the regional section of the Bar Association Laroussi Zguir, on May 3, said he had received notice of opening a judicial investigation against lawyers Bochra Belhadj Hmida, Ayachi Hammami, Ahmed Nejib Chebbi and Noureddine Bhiri.
