Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani met Head of the European Investment Bank’s (EIB) representation to Tunisia, Jean-Luc Revereault, on Thursday morning at the Government Palace in Kasbah. During the meeting, Hachani stressed the importance of the fruitful cooperation between Tunisia and the EIB and the Tunisian Government’s desire to strengthen this partnership in a number of areas. For his part, the Head of the European Investment Bank’s Representation in Tunisia gave the Prime Minister an overview of the development projects financed by the Bank in various sectors such as transport, health, energy transition and infrastructure. He expressed the EIB’s willingness to support Tunisia in the implementation of its projects, particularly in the areas of food security, the rehabilitation of educational institutions and historical sites, and the role of the financial sector, particularly in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
