Kitengela Businesses Razed In Night Fire

A late-night inferno razed down a business premise in Kitengela, Kajiado County. According to eyewitnesses, the fire started at around 9:30 pm Tuesday at a furniture shop located next to the National Bank building. Several rescue teams including the Kenya Red Cross and a fire brigade from Mavoko Sub-county rushed in to contain the fire. So far, the cause of the fire is yet to be established. In a statement, the area Member of Parliament Kakuta Ole Maimai has asked the security agencies to do thorough investigations to establish the cause of the fire.
