South Makther candidates in February 4 runoff local elections Hamdi ben Rebhia and Nizar Laatiri closed Friday their campaigns. ben Rebhia told TAP correspondent he had opted for direct contact with locals to shed light on his manifesto. The upgrade of sports facilities and basic infrastructure are the candidate's main pledges for the region. Fellow candidate Nizar Laatiri has the support of local farmers at the core of his election platform. He also undertook to give a boost to the industrial area and create a national museum.
