Sousse: The Public Prosecutor's office at the Sousse-1 court of first instance ordered the arrest of a national from a neighbouring country on charges of forming a transnational drug trafficking gang and laundering money from this trafficking. Official court spokesman Wissem Cherif told TAP the suspect was arrested on Thursday following a search of his home in Khezama-Sousse, where drug squad officers seized nearly 50,000 ecstasy tablets, or about 19 kilos of the drug. They also seized a vehicle used to transport the drugs and three electronic scales used to weigh the illegal substance. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
