The Tunindex continues its downward trend. The benchmark index closed the session down by 0.48% at 8404.81 points on a modest trading volume of TND 3.6 million, as reported by broker Tunisie Valeurs. AeTECH was the top performer with no transactions, rising 3.2% to TND 0.320. Also in positive territory was TUNIS Re, which gained 2.8% and closed at TND 6.990. The reinsurer's shares recorded a turnover of TND 14,000 during the session. On the other hand, GIF was at the bottom of the index. Trading at a meagre TND 6,000, the filter specialist was down 4.3% at TND 0.450. GIF has had a difficult time on the stock market, since the beginning of the year underperforming by -18.2%. Hannibal Lease was one of the main losers of the session, falling 4.2% to TND 5.000. The stock generated a limited volume of TND 177,000 during the session. Amen Bank was the most dynamic stock of the session. The private bank's shares were hindered by a selling trend and fell 0.15% to TND 33.000, injecting TND 1.3 million into the ma rket.
