Angolan Nationalist Ngola Kabango Condemns Vandalism on Public Property

Mbanza kongo: Angolan nationalist Ngola Kabango on Monday repudiated the acts of vandalism on public property and took the opportunity to urge the relevant authorities to take measures to prevent this phenomenon. "The authorities must first identify the people who are ordering ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Who are these people and what exactly do they want to do with Angola?" the nationalist questioned in statements to the press in Mbanza Kongo, Angolan northern province of Zaire.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the politician, who was speaking at the end of a lecture on "the life and achievements of Holden Roberto," the late president and founder of the National Liberation Front of Angola (FNLA), expressed concern over Angola being a victim of an economic war, with the destruction of its main infrastructure in the energy, water, as well as railway sectors. He added that the country is losing important infrastructure that could boost its rapid economic development and praised the government measure related to the closure of weighing stations and the purchase of ferrous and non-ferrous materials throughout the national territory.

Ngola Kabango stressed that the country has institutions and a government that must act to combat this rampant problem. He is recognized as one of the politicians and historical figures of the FNLA.
