Ouagadougou: A 6th grade student, Manars© Josias Palogo, made a notable contribution to the presidential initiative "Faso Mªbo" by bringing six packets of water to Ouagadougou on Saturday. This contribution, estimated at 3,000 FCFA, reflects two years of dedication and effort.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Palogo, who works as a mechanic during his school holidays, diligently saved 3,000 CFA francs over two years. He set aside money he received each evening from his boss to contribute to the initiative. Despite initial skepticism from his parents, who mocked his intentions, Palogo remained sincere in his commitment.
The young student conveyed that his contribution was intended to support peace efforts in Burkina Faso, and he believed his gesture was a step towards the country's development. The Faso Mªbo Presidential Initiative, which Palogo contributed to, aims to facilitate the development of Burkina Faso through urban expansion and infrastructure projects. It encourages in-kind contributions from the population, including essential building materials and products.
Palogo's contribution is a reflection of the civic responsibility and dedication the initiative seeks to inspire among the citizens of Burkina Faso.
