Tunis: Tunisian duo Lamis Houas and Nadine Hamrouni on Friday won the 2024 ITF/CAT African Junior Championship for 16andUnder (doubles), after defeating Algerian duo Maria Badache and Kawter Abidat 6-2, 7-6 (2). Houas for her part, won the silver medal in the girls' singles, after conceding defeat on Saturday to Egyptian Rahaf Mostafa 6-3, 6-4. 16 countries and 55 athletes (29 boys and 26 girls) took part in this championship, hosted on April 15-20 by Algiers, Algeria.
