Nasser Bourita Signs Peace Board’s Founding Charter in Davos

Davos: Upon the instruction of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita signed the founding Charter of the Board of Peace in Davos, Switzerland. The ceremony was chaired by the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, this signing follows King Mohammed VI's acceptance to join the initiative as a Founding Member. The initiative, proposed by President Trump, aims to bolster peace efforts in the Middle East and adopt a new approach to resolving global conflicts. Morocco and Bahrain were the first countries to sign the Charter, after which President Trump announced its official entry into force, marking the creation of the Board of Peace. The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos and was attended by approximately twenty Heads of State and government, as well as Foreign Ministers from countries including T rkiye, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, and Argentina. Participation in the Board is reserved for a select group of international leaders committed to ensuring a safe and prosperous future for coming generations. This invitation recognizes the leadership of King Mohammed VI and his role as a key actor for peace.
