‘Tobacco Inflicts Damage’ competition extended to May 15

Tunis: The call for projects for the creation of a schematic anti-tobacco warning work has been extended to May 15.

Launched on February 15 by the Health Ministry, in collaboration with the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Education, Family, Women, Children, Elderly, youth and sports, and in partnership with the World Health Organization in Tunisia and the Tunisian Alliance against Tobacco, this competition is organized under the theme “Tobacco Inflicts Damage.”

The project aims to raise awareness among the various audiences concerned against smoking and its dangers.

Participants must submit innovative visuals on the following themes: health risks, financial impact of smoking, risks linked to passive smoking, risks to third parties (children/fetuses, etc.), risks linked to addiction and dependence …

Each visual must be accompanied by a warning message (slogan) in Arabic and/or French, presented in the email information.

Participants may submit multiple proposals.

A committee compo
sed of experts in the field of health, graphics and communication will be in charge of evaluation while the scientific and artistic evaluation of the submissions will be entrusted to a multidisciplinary committee.

The 10 best visuals, related to the themes, will receive certificates and recognition trophies.

The selected visuals will be published and used on various printable media, as well as on cigarette packets during awareness campaigns.
