Zakat al-Fitr set at TND 2

Tunis: The amount of Zakat al-Fitr has been set at TND 2 for the Hijri year 1445, the Mufti of the Republic announced on Wednesday. Zakat al-Fitr must be given before the Eid al-Fitr prayer, the Mufti specified in a statement, explaining that the Maliki school allows it to be given two or three days before the Eid, and the Hanafi and Shafiite schools several days before.
